Although "Joesaphine at Parties", "Useless", "Useless (Terror Remix)", "Well Oiled Machine", "Goodness Knows" and "Steam Cleaned Concrete" were previously released on the Works in Progress LP and EP, the rest have never before surfaced.

"Punk Rock Roots (edit)", is a newly trimmed and tweaked version of the one off Works LP.

"Adam is Ignoring Me", a demo from 2000, was the very first song recorded in what would eventually become the "Works in Progress" LP and EP.

"Hollywood Pay" is a single-worthy beat-driven pop outtake (also recorded in 2000) that was inexplicably left off both the Works in Progress LP and EP.

"No Better Than You (acoustic version)" is an entirely new version recorded in 2003 for an acoustic record that never happened.

And finally, "Matters When" and "Left Patterns Lost" are two lost 2003 demos that have simply never seen the light of day...until now.

The disc was reissued on May 31st, 2005 in a factory-pressed disc-only version, and then again reissued on December 6th, 2005 with a deluxe, jewel case setup.
