All The Days Blur
[ stream the studio demo ]
[ listen to the bedroom demo in Realaudio ]

All the days blur
yeah all the days blur
is it one day or the other
I can never be sure
all the days blur
yeah all the days blur
with all the radiation from my monitor

I get myself on the train
and everything is the same
the very same level one
of the very same game
and I’m afraid I can’t do
whatever it takes to change
and I’ll remain in this hell
until I’m dead or deranged
complacent normality
has got the better of me
I try so hard to be free
but it keeps getting to me
can’t stop gonna get caught
gonna get run down
gonna get drunk
gonna pass the time
till the clock hits nine
then it’s back to work
like assembly lines

All the days blur
yeah all the days blur
is it one day or the other
I can never be sure
all the days blur
yeah all the days blur
with all the radiation from my monitor

yes sir
right away sir
good call on that iceberg
I’ll sink right down with you
what can I do to help you?
good and evil’s all and good
most would be both if they could
since most are most never would
admit to it
they never could

All the days blur
yeah all the days blur
is it one day or the other
I can never be sure
all the days blur
yeah all the days blur
with all the radiation from my monitor

Song Notes: My first song ever to be played on the radio, I actually wrote the words about 4 years ago while I was working a job I really hated. It's pretty self-explanatory. The phrase 'back to work like assembly lines' is intentional. I've always thought that getting on the train and going to work every day with a herd of people resembled an assembly line doing the same thing over and over again. Over at garageband it has won over 11 listener awards, including best melody, best lyrics and track of the day.
