Notes |
Lots of glitches with the experimental MOTU/G5 setup, which started to overload the sound system early on in the show, resulting in every other song being accompanied by a large "CRACK!" or "BUZZ!" or something that sounded like broken glass (and a cat) being thrown with into a washing machine. That said, the very last two songs of the set (which were thankfully acoustic) saved the show from being a total tech glitch. Lack of time for a sound-check as well as the opening bands leaving only 10 minutes for Greg to set up an untested rig led to the problems. Strangely, “All The Days Blur” came off pretty well, and The Roxy bookers gave an invitation to come back for a future date. Three brand new songs were debuted (although you might've not been able to hear them) "Don't Talk About The Weather", "Good News", and "This I Know". All in the Plans movie director Kia Simon flew in from Oakland to give support (and drinks!) |
